Bio:

Trevor Crook spent years drumming in bands. While his love for drumming is still alive and well, he has taken up the guitar and started writing his own music. He writes songs of his life on the road and coming to the realization of how scary it is to be a front person and the vulnerability of putting your emotions out for everyone to see. He writes from the perspective of coming of age and the fear of being left behind in a world that can feel like it is moving so fast.
The music is Indie Folk and gives the road trip listening vibes we all know and love. Think, the feeling of the last song before you unload the car to camp for the weekend. Playing in successful bands like Johnson Crook - co writing and drumming, Trevor brings a positive energy to the stage. After the band Johnson Crook parted ways, Trevor moved out west from Toronto Ontario, to Minnedosa Manitoba to explore a new chapter with his wife. After a year he started writing again and this is where his songs really started to come to life. Now working on his first solo album, Trevor is nervous and proud to be putting himself out there again!

History:

Trevor grew up playing music with his family and his brother Nathan in the small community of Minnedosa. They played in bands such as 'The Knockout' and 'Take With Audio' until they moved to Toronto and started the group 'Johnson Crook' with fellow musicians Noel and Jared. Signed to Coalition Music, they spent many years on the road touring and playing festivals. Trevor has played and recorded with many emerging artists over the years as a drummer, and he is now writing and producing his own music.
